Word Racer Privacy Policy
Last updated August 9, 2026
Word Racer is a driving word game for iOS made by Syntax Planet. This policy explains what information the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your game progress stays on your device, the app has no accounts, and the only data that leaves your device is anonymous milestone events we use to see how the game is doing, plus what Apple and our advertising and purchase providers need to do their jobs.
Data stored on your device
Your level progress, coins, unlocked cars, daily streaks, settings, and learning language are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. Apart from the anonymous activity events described below, none of it is uploaded to us, and there is no account or backup that would let us restore it.
Anonymous activity events
So we can tell whether the game is working for players, the app reports a handful of milestone events to a server we run: the first launch, a return after several days away, a completed level, and a purchase or restore. Each event carries the level reached, lifetime plays completed, the language being learned, whether the player has Pro, your country and App Store storefront, the app version, and the device model and iOS version.
These events carry no name, email, contact details, or advertising identifier. The only identifier is a short random code generated on your device when the app is first opened; it is not linked to you, to your Apple ID, or to anything outside the app, and it is regenerated if you delete and reinstall. We do not sell this data or use it to build a profile of you.
You can turn this off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Share Anonymous Stats. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland nothing is sent unless you have also given consent through the privacy prompt shown when you first open the app, which you can change any time under Settings → Privacy Settings.
No accounts
Word Racer does not require or offer account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details through the app.
Purchases
Optional subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, app-generated identifier and purchase receipt information — never your name, Apple ID, or payment details. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Advertising
The free version of Word Racer shows ads served by Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch. AdMob may process device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier), IP address, and coarse device information to serve and measure ads, subject to your iOS App Tracking Transparency choice. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from AdMob. You can limit ad personalization in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and subscribing removes ads entirely.
Game Center
If you sign in to Apple's Game Center, Apple handles that data under its own terms. We receive no Game Center profile information on any server of ours. See Apple's privacy policy.
Notifications
Streak reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They involve no server and can be turned off anytime in iOS Settings or in the app's settings.
Children
Word Racer is suitable for a general audience. The app collects no personal information itself; advertising is provided by Google AdMob as described above.
Data deletion
Because all gameplay data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your App Store account settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and its "last updated" date.
